Walter J. Jung, DDS, PC

Dr. Walter J. Jung is a graduate of the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi. He attended Meharry Medical College's School of Dentistry and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1995. In 1996, Dr. Jung received a certification for General Practice Residency at the University of Mississippi's Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. He then attended Metropolitan Nashville General Hospital for his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from 1996 to 2000.

Dr. Walter Jung is presently a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is on staff and Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery/Dentistry at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. Dr. Jung regularly lectures for the Louisiana Dental Association on TMJ and Implants, and he also provides Continuing Education courses on TMJ and Implantology to the local Dental population.

Dr. Jung is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Louisiana Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, International Congress of Oral Implantologist, International Congress of Oral Implantoloigist, Prosthodonics. He is also a member of the Greater Baton Rouge Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
